My name is Lauren Burke and I am a Chicago-based writer and editor. I love traveling, high tea and good storytelling.

I believe in the power of kindness and collaboration.  I've been lucky enough to work with a group of talented and passionate, and highly-organized women on projects like the Ladies' Night Anthology.  Together, we have produced books, workshops, and networking opportunities for more than 100 women across the globe.  Writing was always my dream, but I have found creative fulfillment in this mentorship role.

Publishing is my business.  I'm experienced in the art of self-publishing, but I've also worked on the opposite end of the spectrum with corporate giants like Disney, Mattel and Hasbro in their publishing departments.     My professional experience in marketing, sales and acquisitions has informed my writing, and made me a better, faster and stronger editor.
